He still had an average of 9-7, that seems like success. He had 91 wins in 10 seasons, which is 91 and 69, seems like success.
He went to the playoffs 4 times, seems like more success in 10 years then our last 10 years.
So, maybe he didn't have as much as with Elway, but he did have success.
