I think he has trouble inticipating where the WR will be and throwing to that point in order to hit them in stride. I guess that's the difference between good and great.... a QB that throws to where he's looking vs. throwing to where the receiver will be to catch the ball in stride.

I really cringe when we throw slants, JC always has that delay. So even when the receiver is open that extra second not only lets the defender get closer but the whole defense has that second to close the gap.
