Michael Edward Shanahan (born August 24, 1952) is a current American football head coach. Shanahan is the current head coach for the Washington Redskins. He led the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowl victories in 1997 and 1998. His son is the Houston Texans Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan. The Redskins are excited for his debut and are also excited to see what the new coach will do with the team.
