Absolutely.
One another point, for those saying we saw this with Marty in 2001 and this will be 2001 all over again. This is not the same situation. Marty was running everything-the scouting process, the draft process (not just draft day but all the weeks and months leading up to it-choosing who to interview at the combines, who to bring in for pro day, etc), managing the cap. Marty, as is his preference, ran everything and didn't have much of a front office. Just him and the scouts. Allen will take the lead in a lot of those areas which should provide for a more efficient organization. And allow Shanahan to focus primarily on coaching, even with final say on personnel decisions
