That has been my biggest bone to pick with Blache's and Gregg Williams defense; we gave up momentum killing plays at the most inopportune times. If Haslett can correct that one area, I don't care if we sacrafice a few slots in total yards, but end up with a defense that plays consistently well from start to finish.

I agree....Plus the way defensive stats are kept, the findings are often misleading. Our defense will not suffer in the area of points allowed or yds. per game, improvement needs to be made in 3rd down defense, and take-aways. Sack totals were up from previous years but we have struggled consistently getting off the field on 3rd down.
