You're right on most of the above...particularly the arrogance part, but my assessment of the two players is completely founded in reason.
It's quite naive to suggest that ALL of Vick's problems stem from work ethic. A player can struggle to adjust to a dynamic and oft-changing professional sport due to laziness and that can be changed. But once you've gone through a
career unable to adjust, then it's frankly impossible to pin it on work ethic.
In 2004...maybe 2005, I think you have a point. In 2010, you've come up empty handed. Team's should handle Vick as to what he is, not what he should have become five years ago. Other than a felon.
