Lynn Swann has only 336 catches and 51tds. Clark has 699 catches and 65tds. I seriously think Swann made it to the hall because of a few circus catches in the postseason.

You just gave me a great idea. Lets hire James Cameron, and start a studio called Warpath Films. It seems like all through the history of the NFL if you have pretty highlights you get called a great player. We'll make Portis tripping on running plays look epic and insure a trip to Canton for CP26.
Heck I wouldn't be surprised if one day Vick got elected to the Hall of Fame. Announcers will speak of how he revolutionized the game....maybe dog fighting but football?
Still I don't mind Swann getting into the Hall. It was the election of John Stallworth that made me scratch my head. Also it's not like we're the only ones that had doubts about Namath and Bradshaw. Both were like 3rd or 4th ballot hall of famers.
Like I said before. I know it was a different game before but plenty of QB's put up respectable numbers in that era. I just feel like if Swann got in on a couple of postseason highlights then it's possible that Namath got in on the big guarantee.
It really is scary though. There might be QB's in the future that will make our kids ask "why is that Peyton guy in the hall of fame? He doesn't even have a career 130 QB rating?"
