Dude the DC area has a ton of "yankee" transplants. I know a bunch of ex Detroiters that live in the VA and MD burbs You don't know how many folks have left MI in the past few years. My entire family was in MI til last August when my brother and his family moved to a Dallas burb. IN a week my sister and her family leave for South Carolina as my bro in law got transferred to Charlotte. Anybody that can leave is leaving. A lot of my buds at work want to leave too ,but can't because of their families, and the job situation. I myself am looking to move to the DC area just for a new start. I am a Skin fan because I was born in Bethesda and lived my pre K years in Lanham and have family in the area. Great place, pretty nice folks.
