I think this is poor measuring stick because drafted players are always over valued compared to current NFL players.
Remember Randy Moss and i think Anthony Gonzo were traded for a 3rd round picks.
I heard John Clayton say that McNabb/Vick could be had for 3rd round picks.
I think a better question is how would you rate Colts Brennan potential to be an NFL starting QB in comparison to the current rookie crop.
I think a better question would be who is more prepared to start an NFL game?
Imo Brennan would be
ahead of any rookie coming out.
At the same time i'm not making a statement about their potential or upside; just that Brennan is more ready to start a game in the NFL.
Another way to make a more valid comparison would be to compare their measureables like: arm strength, accuracy, mobility, durability, etc
