Plus you probably missed my other thread posts about the second tier team QBs. Brees was from Purdue. Favre was from Ole Miss, Manning was from Tennessee. All good teams for sure, but not the powerhouse caliber of Florida, Bama, or Oklahoma. Those 3 made there respective teams better and faced tough competiton, thus in my mind making them better suited for the parity of the NFL. The only successful contemporary NFL QB that came from a big program was Brady, and he was a 6th round pick. In short, these QBs from the NCAA superpowers are spoiled and might have a rougher time making it in the NFL than a guy that played around a less talented team, but still was a winner nonetheless.
