Thing is, Cleveland needs so much help in so many places. They have no receivers at all and basically every position on defense is a mess. Their D is so bad, I don't see how they don't take the best defensive player available at #7. Or maybe Dez Bryant.

For precisely the reasons you point out, I think Quinn's trade value just plummeted with them signing Jake to such a lucrative contract and bringing in Seneca Wallace.
If I'm the GM of another team, these recent moves are a sure signal that they intend to part ways with Quinn, so why give up picks for a lame duck QB. I think either they bring Brady Quinn back to camp and let him compete for the starting spot --again--or outright release him.
