Thing is it is the caliber of players we have that will determine the outcome on the field. Shanny is a good coach, but our roster is weak overall. Too many drafts have been wasted in search for high priced free agents that have always underperformed. Add to that the dumb ass moves we have made in drafts since Norv was the HC and you get what we have here, a mediocre franchise. Biggest mistake was not drafting another QB in '96-'97 when it was apparent that Shuler was a bust and that Gus couldn't get us to the promised land
