Not to belabor the Bradford lovefest I'm tossing out here, but I think it's worth noting. Yeah he played in the spread and yeah he'll take some time adjusting to a pro style offense.

But he has a ton of poise in the pocket. You can see on the tape countless instances where he was blitzed up the middle and had guys bearing down on him, but he stood in and delivered the throw without panicking, and without getting jittery. If you think about it, that's how he got his shoulder hurt against BYU. He had a safety bearing down on him, but he waited for the receiver to get open and delivered the ball accurately. Only then did he get driven into the ground and his shoulder hurt.

And that's not to say he's some statue back there waiting to get hit. He moves around in the pocket pretty well avoiding a lot of rush, just enough to buy time to throw. You can tell when he's avoiding the rush he's not looking to run, he's trying to buy the time for the WR so he can make a throw.

I see tremendous pocket presence, unbelievable accuracy, and an extremely well-grounded and smart guy. I think he picks up the pro-style offense relatively quickly and has a tremendous career.
