Smoot is a true Reskin, in every meaning of the word. Period. I have the feeling that he's holding out for more money, but from the Redskins only. If you listen to all the free agency chatter how often have you heard Smoot's name. Not much, because I don't think he has told his agent to really go out looking, because otherwise I couldn't see why another team would not want to pick up Smoot. He is as talented a cornerback as any other on the market and he is the epitomy of heart. I think he wants more money, but in the end he's going to sign with the Skins because e loves the team, the fans, and the city more than a couple more million dollars he could find in his signing bonus.
