I think the Browns signed Jake Delhome as a very temporary stop gap. It seems the best plan would be to draft a QB in this draft. Let me learn behind Jake for a season, or half a season if he falters early on, and then turn it over. I would feel much safer with Campbell as an option than Delhome.

The Panthers got rid of Delhome because he sucks, not b/c they have sooo much confidence in Moore IMO. I would feel safer about having Moore and Campbell instead of Moore by himself, who is an unproven players with the exception of a few good starts in relief.

I feel like there is a good enough market to move Campbell. I feel it would be best for him and the Redskins. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later in the 2nd round. HTTR.
1. TJ did not lose his job, the Vikings upgraded the position. Once HOF legend Favre finally retires it is TJ's team again.

2. My definition of stop gap is different from yours. I believe that stop gap is a one year thing. I believe that Delhome has solidified the QB position in Cleveland for possibly 2-4 years.

3. Delhome does not necessarily suck, he had a bad year and got hurt in the middle of it. If he sucked then the Panthers would not have given him that fat contract right before last season. The Panthers obviously believe that based on performance that Moore has the potential to be as good as Delhome. Given that he is younger, cheaper, and the fact that it is an uncapped year it just made sense to release Delhome without a penalty.

4. There is a market to move Campbell but we would have to accept far less than what he is really worth. In my mind he is worth a late 3rd or early to mid 4th. Right now the market is trying to dictate more like a late 4th early 5th.
