For months i've been reading Fangoria and hearing people talk it up, how the remake was going to put the franchise back to its roots, and after hearing Robert Englund (original Freddy) give Jackie his endorseent as the new Freddy, i was stoked.
They have 2 sequels on the way according to Jackie Earle Haley, so maybe they will get it right...i'm just kind of blah....

I read that as well and I was a bit stoked.
NOES the first was scary as crap then the franchise became like horomedy or campy if you will, apparently this film impressed the campy part.
