Law and Order is an easy show to watch in reruns because it's not really a serial. So you can flip it on while at the gym, or cooking, or posting on a message board. And then watch it 8 months later and not really miss a beat. I generally prefer SVU to the original. Criminal Intent is ok, and the other one (Trial by Jury?) was kind of a flop.

It's been a primetime staple for NBC for 20 years though so it will be different to see it gone
