I have a buddy who is paying $43,000+ per month in child support for one child for the next 12 years.
There is no accounting by the recipient for how the funds are spent. She could spend $5,000/month on the kid and the rest on herself (and likely will).
Oh yeah, and the funds are entirely tax free.

:thumb: Spot on! I have no problem with a father being ordered to pay child support. HE SHOULD PAY. But it's child support, not
ex support. You shouldn't get free money for failing at a relationship or being careless.
