While I thought VC actually did okay in ID'ing talent - flame away, but it's my opinion and discussed ad nauseum in older threads - he almost always overvalued it. Thus, even the one decent skill he had was compromised.

Getting a pro-bowl quality Tackle (left or right) for a 3rd or 4th round pick is good solid pick-up. Remember, we were all thinking this would take a 2nd rounder to go through. Honestly, and IMO, if we can get a 3rd for AH at this point, it is just a huge win for us.

I hear what you're saying. You'll not get any lip from me about getting lineman. McNabb can't do squat doing the Brunnell / Campbell shuffle.
