Ego is not a good thing, be it from a coach or a primadonna WR or a player. Being the bigger man (Figuratively people.....) is what needs to happen here. If Shanahan is indeed taking a shot at Albert for not conforming to his standards, then shame on him. Public embarassment and intentionally releasing the failure to the media, come on, that is childish. The guy is gonna be on the roster, and from many sources, he is in the best shape of his career. If you are really serious about bringing this team back to greatness, swallow your pride, and offer AH an olive branch, not a sponge of vinegar. They guy IS getting paid, we DO want him to play and blow OL's off the ball, and training camp is where u should put all the other bullshit behind you. If he showed up on time this time, and ready to roll and shanahan did this due to ego or bad blood, then shanahan needs to quit acting like a ****ing middle schooler and get a clue. The bottom line is all that is important. AH makes the team better, not worse. Be the bigger man shanahan, and go out of your way to show AH that he is needed and wanted here, and we want him to help us succeed.
Perfect point.
