On another note I just rewatched the Devin Thomas touchdown pass. Turns out the Devin deserves more credit then he got for that play. Thomas actually was able to use a head fake and quick cut to draw the cover man outside before turning back inside for the post. On top of that he was able to do this against a veteran defender, not some guy simply hoping for a roster spot. So congrads Devin, you're one step closer to cementing your place on this roster. I totally agree with you. I too saw the fake out route and turn in for the post. My first thought was awsome job Thomas. My second thought was the position coach must be finally doing their job. Thank god Hixon is gone cause it actually seems like McCardell is teaching the WR's something that Hixon failed to do for so many seasons. Teach. Hell even Armstrong who was a practice squad member last year is now 1st string offense/starter and showed awsome technique when he used his body to shield the defender and score. To me though I wouldn't have given him the TD. I felt he lost control of the ball and fumbled and recovered at the 1/2 yard line, but who cares the Bills didn't challenge.
