I don't think he would say, "If they kept me, I'd have dogged it up and down the field, and intentionally fumbled when given the chance."

I don't doubt Coles would have worked hard, but he vocally did not want to be here. That is not a good situation for a team trying to rebuild and install a new system.

I wish we had gotten more for Coles, and paid less to do it. I'm just not going to begrudge the result.
