I noticed that the Bears went for 2 late in the game so that they could cut the Cards lead to three and increase the chances of overtime. They showed us that just because it is preseason doesn't mean you can't be competitive. It is still a game which should be played the right way.
The chart says go for 2 in that situation against the Jets. We didn't have to open the playbook, just run a regular preseason play and go for two. But we couldn't follow the chart because, unlike other smart and successful coaches, Shanny doesn't need one. He obviously is above the Dungy's and Belichicks of the world.
Remember people, arrogance was a major factor in Shanny's undoing in Denver.

Have you seen the chart? Just where is it written that coaches MUST (which is what you're implying) go for two in that exact situation?
Again, by going for the higher percentage play of the extra point, a field goal would have
beaten the Jets 19-18 if they scored a touchdown after us.
Eff the chart. The Chart wasn't handed down in stone by Moses.
