I'm pretty much the same way. I've lived my whole life in MD but I was born in DC, only because that's where my mom's doctor was stationed out of at the time. Sibley Hospital, holla!
Since I went to a MD state school most of the people were either from the DC area or the Baltimore area, so that's when I really started saying I'm from DC. It got worse once I moved to Baltimore a few years back.
Anyway, back to the thread: it's gotten to the point where I get completely enraged when I see people not using their turn signals. If I'm behind you and you signal that you're about to make a left on a busy road I know to slow down and prepare to stop; but if you don't signal I might just assume you're tapping your breaks but I have no idea you could completely stop in the middle of the road. I really hate other drivers.
