To the media and fans maybe it was "on the players", but in the post game press conferences, Joe stood up and took the blame and pointed to himself.
Did Joe drop the balls, or was it Gardner? Did Joe commit STUPID penalties or was it Smoot, and others? Did Joe fumble in the last 1:41 of the Cowboy game or was it Brown? YET JOE TOOK THE BLAME.
All we are saying is give the guy a break, he was out of the league for a while, and needed time to adjust. The clock management errors last year were annoying to me, but I'll give the guy a chance and realize it will take more than one season before we see an impact....too much stuff to undo from our numerous past coaches. Maybe you'd prefer to see Norv Turner, or Spurrier back instead............
