I don't get it though. What is the pattern? Use your draft picks to address areas of need while picking up cheap vets to fill holes that you can't address through the draft? To me, that's a pretty sound strategy to at least be semi-competitive year in and year out.

Now, had we spent our first rounder on an RB or WR I would have been pissed, but I really think they have a plan to make us good now AND build for the future at the same time.
