I have no argument with the coaches in the Top Seven here. I could debate for a long time about which coach should be higher or lower, but the Top Seven here is a pretty good list.

The next three coaches, Wisenhunt, Harbaugh and Ryan have thin resumes. Maybe they belong that high on the list and maybe not. Time will tell.

Regarding the rest of the list:
Wade Phillips is too high at 15; I'd have him between 20 and 22.

Lovie Smith is WAAY too high at 20; I'd have him closer to 30.

The coaches listed 28 - 32 are coaches of teams that stink. That is not necessarily a reflection of them as coaches; it might be more a problem with the GM or the owner - - or in the case of the Raiders, both.

Gary Kubiak and Mike Singletary are too far down on the list.
