It seems we traded the pick (Ended up R. Williams) to the Saints for their entire draft that year. Then traded nearly all we had acquired for the rights to move back up again for Champ! Of course we got another #1 the next year in that tremendous trade! That was totally awesome! It should have worked out like the Herschel Walker deal, but we messed up by trading a 2fer during the following draft, in order to get either Arrington or Samuels, I forget, (think it was Arrington). Wait, Arrington turned out pretty well, didn't he? In fact, Samuels turned out pretty well also.
