I can't say that I ever think about a play or game in an "if Sean was there.." type manner anymore

to me it transcends a play or game, just if people had his style, his ability, his desire.. if every player played like Sean Taylor you wouldn't need an offense.. if every player played like Sean you wouldn't have excuses after games.. if every player played like Sean we wouldn't have much to worry about

some players are smart, some players adjust well, some are fast.. some are big..

Sean had all of that, plus intensity, you can't coach intensity, you either want it or you don't.. being a wrestler myself and having played defense, there's no substitute for intensity, none at all.. you can take the most intensive player and couple that with half smarts and chances are you're going to be much better than the smartest player with 75% intensity

you're never out of the play when you're ready to make it
