They could just make LJ inactive for a week.

Leftwich was cut because of injury and they can't carry 4 QBs when Ben comes back. Dixon got hurt, so 3 out of their 4 QBs could not play, leaving only Batch...so Byron was resigned so Randel El wouldn't be the only QB if Batch also got hurt. Leftwich is still not 100% over his injury, but he knows the system in case he's needed.
