Jason underperformed but he doesn't have the emotional attatchment to that fan base as he did with ours. So there aren't going to be that many folks in the media or in the public that will defend him. Bruce had the team going in an alright direction last year, Hue saw what Jason had to offer. As I've said many times before, the tape doesn't lie !
Truer words had never been spoken.

I said it last year. Jason Campbell was the only quarterback in the NFL that didnt have to work for his job. Jason was the anointed starter here since 2006, and no matter how poorly he played, he never had to worry about replacement. Fans got the taste that he was contributing to the team's woes when Collins played lights out in 07. No way a 5-6 skins team led by Campbell would've made the playoffs. Jason would have finished 6-10 or maybe even 5-11!

Now he figures he can do the same shit in Oakland, just walk in and be the starter, not having to earn anything, or work for anything. Gradkowski deserves this job. Not only is he the better player, but he earned the job. Jason never did anything but show up and expect everything.
