Re: Sean Taylor wants to redo his deal already...
From the Post 3/21:
"According to sources, agent Drew Rosenhaus has held discussions with the Redskins about safety Sean Taylor's desire for a new contract. Taylor fired his previous agents last summer because of displeasure with his rookie contract: a seven-year, $18 million deal, which included a roughly $11 million bonus. With incentives, the contract is worth up to $40 million. But NFL rules prevent a rookie's contract from being reworked for a year. In Taylor's case, nothing can be announced until Aug. 1. Rosenhaus declined to comment. . . . "
Im not sure how I feel about this, but I get the feeling that he just realizes that his agent sucked and that he got a bad deal compared to others drafted around him. I doubt a new deal gets worked out, and I dont think that Rosenhaus will let it become a distraction/holdout situation. I mean, its not like we're dealing with the Postons here!
