I believe we didn't do it, because Haslett all week game planed for Vick, and his goal was to preach the defense this week to contain, and said to his guys, "hey guys this week were gonna contain Vick, because if we blitz him we got Vick outracing us with a guy behind him."

Now thats no excuse for his players to all of a sudden forget or just not blitz, but I guess he figured, Kolbs a quick passer, and not a long down field passer. All of our blitzes don't get there fast enough so he'll just get quick passes and big gains on us all day...we'd be working to his advantage, and not ours.


Plus man our defense didn't Break today. We did good, not great, but enough to win. We sure as hell bent, but didn't break, like against Houston or the Rams last week.

I absolutely agree. It seems like the gameplan did not change a bit after Vick was hurt. I did see a couple blitzes towards the end, but not many.

In the end it worked, so who care.
