That's why teams come out of nowhere because all the intangibles line up and you can have all the players but if the intangibles aren't there, you're going to suffer (see Dallas).

I see what you are saying, and I completely agree. I know my post is very long so I don't expect all of it to be read, but I did cover this when I said that my title is confusing and I mean to say that they would have the most complete team talent wise, not necessarily be the "top dogs."
I just see so much unharnessed potential on the Texans. I think it is incredible that all of their offensive starters on their great offense are all 29 and under, and they have their 5 best defensive players (Amobi Okoye, Demeco Ryans, Mario Williams, Brian Cushing, Kareem Jackson----yes I know that last one is tbd) all 26 and under.
In my mind they could have been a force to be reckoned with for years to come if they fixed their secondary last offseason. In my mind the unharnessed potential comes mainly from the terrible secondary play. Of course the intangibles of chemistry and coaching are significant factors as well, but I just think that those issues are good enough that they be elite for many years if they just fixed their secondary.
