The only reason all these lovers are here is because we haven't lost the games (except Texans) where the field goals mattered. Those ones he has missed (chicago, green bay, dallas) if we lose those games his kicks would have made all the difference. I am sorry, i was a Gano fan because the kid has a leg, no doubt. But I will take a guy that can bang 40-43 yards in on a consistant basis than a guy that "could" be good, and has a leg to make from 50+ easlily. I am tired of the freaking revolving door of kickers at Redskin park. We can never find a guy that is any good. I would be bringing someone in and giving them a chance. We have 9 games left, and all but one has come down to the last minute, and withing 3 to 5 points. Field goal kicking is brutally important and we are suffering in that part of the game.

The way I look at it is Gano is 50-50, when the game is on the linne. Siusham was 100% miss in those situations, so I am willing to give Gano the chance to get better.
