are you talking about guru from gangstarr who came up with super intelligent lines like

lemonade is a popular drink
and it still is
i get more props for my stunts
than bruce willis

like baggy jeans
im crazy hip hop
check one two
and you dont stop

guru was good with step in the arena and hard to earn, but come on man, dj premieres beats were the only reason that gangstarr was who they were.

sorry, i used to love gangstarr but guru was so cheesy imo. just like common was good with Can i borrow a dollar and resurection then he went cheesy too. at least with common you could see that his music evolved as he matured and that was the reason for his decline from being a true hip hop mainstay. his artistic motivations changed as his life changed. guru? i dont even know what that short bama is doing, probably trying to put out jazzmatazz 13.
