He was a fan in the 60's for sure. I'm not sure exactly when he started watching them. I guess it was the timing of it that changes the perspective of things for me. I seen the Skins as a winner early in my "adventure" as a fan

Your statement about him suffering as much might be right.
I seen them go from dominate to... well you know. I guess I still view them as that dominate team that just cant seem to get it together and it frustrates me. Seems like we have tried so many things, Owners, coaches, players, nothing seems to work.
Dad got to see a more consistent organization. Maybe thats it, Not really sure why I don't pass the tradition on as easily as he did. Maybe I just got spoiled early on.
