Re: Week 15: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday thread
I don't think Luck is going pro this season from his comments, it sounds like he wants to stay in school for one more season. I won't be disappointed if he doesn't, I don't think we would've had a shot at him anyways.
As for wideout, I don't think we're as bad off as people believe. AA has 40 catches for 772 yards this season, which is probably more production than we've had at the #2 wideout spot in a while. Those are CC type numbers, which makes the fact that Cooley is still putting up good numbers even better, because for a while Moss and Cooley have been our top two options in the offense. Going into next season, I think our focus needs to be on the offensive line, getting a qb in the draft, and the defense. I don't get what people want more from Moss. I know his drop at the end of the game yesterday probably cost us bigtime, but more often than not he makes those catches.
I like what Rex did yesterday but you can't discount the turnovers. I won't include the pick at the end of the game, but his first pick and his fumble directly lead to 14 Dallas points. I know Rex did great throwing 4 td passes but since two of his turnovers lead to 14 Dallas points 2 of those touchdown passes didn't mean anything. I loved the game he played today except for the sacks and turnovers, and he def. proved the coaches right in benching McNabb. Sucks for McNabb now too because now people aren't going to give him the benefit of the doubt, when this came out practically everybody was on his side.
