Back in 2005 I had a friend that told me I was stupid when I said that Jason White would probably be a late second day pick. White had won a Heisman while throwing for 75 TD's and 7,000 yards the previous two years against Big XII competition. White went undrafted.
Back in 2003 I was a wide eye kid that couldn't understand why one of my favorite QB's Ken Dorsey wasn't going to be a first round pick. He had 76 TD passes, a national championship, and a 38-2 record as a starter. Dorsey was a 7th round pick.
Colt Brenanan in his final two years, playing against the same programs as Kellen Moore threw 96 TD passes.
I have no problem drafting Moore next year as a late round project. However making him Plan A and anointing him as our QB of the future is just insane.
