Yes he was! Most of my family was/are huge Notre Dame fans and the ones who aren't are Rutgers fans, I was at the game in I think 89 where Harris had maybe his best game. I think he rushed for around 200 yards. I remember my father telling me I would never see another athlete like him (I was 10 at the time) oh how wrong my dad was!
