Thank you skinsguy. The way the Giants run the ball with Jacobs and Bradshaw and with the high number of picks Eli Manning throws, the Giants would already be in the playoffs if they ran it more and relied on Eli less.
Throwing every down with Sexy Rexy doesn't show you anything about Rex except what he can or can't do without a balanced attack. Playaction doesn't work when there is no run action.
Look at the Patriots, they don't even really pass anymore until they get close to the endzone. Green-Ellis and Woodhead are just running over or around people all day. Brady is not putting up eyepopping yardage, just TDs with no picks, because they don't HAVE to throw.
