Off season competition, my foot! He needs to go! Missing several short field goals is absolutely unacceptable. Also, he has kicked the ball out of bounds on some kickoffs, as well, giving opponents the ball at their 40 yard line. That is also unacceptable.
How many times have we seen a place kicker do well enough in camp and preseason to win a job only to see him suck in the real games? We just don't need a replay of that scenario here.
