It also helped that their no name wideouts like Simpson stepped up bigtime against the Chargers and Ravens (despite losing that game). And maybe you're right, it does say a lot about his leadership skills, but since Lewis is going to be back and they need a lot of help in other areas of the roster, I think it's safe to take them out of the qb discussion. They were iffy on getting a new qb to begin with, but it looks like Lewis is content having Palmer around next season.
