I'm not Native American either, but I'm not sure what the fuss is over the moniker, "Redskins." I have never known that to be racist slur. I thought I remember reading somewhere where the owner changed the name to Redskins in honor of the coach at the time...which was a Native American? If the coach thought of it as an honor, then why are these people in such a fuss? Maybe it's a screen to grab the trademark for the name so they can make money off of team apparel? Either way, it doesn't seem right when considering they should change the name of every pro team that has an indian or something realated to indians as a gimmick. Actually, calling them indians isn't correct either, because they didn't live in India.

Hhhmmmm The Washington Native Americans? The Washington Indians? The Washington Redskins sounds the best to me!
