Depending on where you are, you have to deal with Jets and Giants fans. I find the Giants fans more irritating. Jets fans normally have nothing to get excited about.
When I was living in Long Island, I was surrounded by Giants fans. Up in Syracuse, its not so bad. In any case Ruh should not attempt living among NY fans in NY. It sucks for a Skins fan.
