I think you're all making way too much of his prior mental issues. As far as I've seen, they're way in the past and its all behind him. He seems like a competent person now.
As for physical requirements...he is kicking butt in MMA matches, I think he could still take the punishment. Too bad he indicated he wants to play for Atlanta.
