Just a point I would like to make here. It's very difficult to change habits that have been formed for many years. That being said, I don't think the correct way of planting ones lower body will benefit some athletes that play a specialized position like QB.
This might be the reason Kyle Shanahan does not emphasis making corrections to what's natural to QBs, in other words, let them play with what comes natural to them. Of course, if it is a glaring problem then show the proper way to do the same task correctly.
