For the sake of discussion, lets consider the slight possibilty that the top edge rushers (Quinn, Bowers, Miller) and defensive tackles (Dareus, Fairley) may be snatched by up by teams ahead of us. If by chance this scenario happens, this may be our opportunity to grab our #1 reciever for years to come...A.J. Green or Julio Jones.

Julio Jones is an absolute physical freak and extremely tough competitor (based on his results at the combine and knowing that he put those numbers up on a broken foot). He is physically imposing and is a devastating blocker in the game. Very solid in YAC and tough to tackle in the open field.

A.J. Green on the other hand, is such a naturally gifted pass catcher. He catches everything thrown his way, runs crisp routes and gets consistent separation from defenders. His ability to go "up" for the ball is unmatched, not to mention, his knack for the spectacular catch.

If we went WR at #10, Who do you think we should take, Jones or Green, and why?

I went to YouTube to settle the question you posed in order to get a feel for the two WRs.

First, both of them are hard-nosed WRs and have no apparent fear of catching the ball in traffic. This is important in the NFL. Grade them even.

Secondly, they both have an appreciated love for the game and their respective abilities to make fantastic plays. Slight edge to A.J. Green.

Thirdly, if I had to pick one of them to hopefully compliment Kelly (fingers crossed), I would pick A.J. Green. He will bring out the best from the other receivers on our team. Both are physical, so that negates Julio Jones' strong point.

All of that being said, I like A.J. Green.
