I went to Richmond, so let me start by saying that. But here's why you go Spiders:
- The team is almost entirely seniors
- They rarely turn the ball over
- Their defense is stifling, they hold their opponents to very low shooting %
- Kevin Anderson has ice in his veins, guy hits so many shots with the game on the line
- Justin Harper is a genuine pro prospect
- They're capable of going on insane 3-point streaks, they have 4 very good 3 point shooters, including their center. 3 point streaks are how you take down a giant like Kansas, everything has to go right, and then you must get hot from 3 land. They can do it, they beat Purdue earlier this year doing the same thing.
All that stands in their way is Kansas. A tall order no doubt, but after that, it's the winner of Florida State and VCU to go to the Final Four.
And there's always the chance Kansas rolls over them and you win for biggest blowout.
SPIDERS!!!
