Battie, Brand, Daniels, Kapono, Nocioni, Songaila = old. That's half your team... now if we're looking at a squad like the Lakers, Spurs or Celtics that's a bit different- they're actually built to win a championship. The Sixers aren't getting past the first round (second if they're lucky).

Now look at the Wiz roster:

WIZARDS: Wizards Roster

Evans, Howard and Lewis are the only guys over 25 years old. I'm not counting Mustafa Shakur and Larry Owens, as they were D-Leaguers brought in for the last few weeks of the season. The Wiz may have the fourth worst record in the league this season, but they've got a franchise player, young legs (who improved by leaps throughout the season) and a top pick in this year's draft (albeit, a weak draft). The Wizards new FO understood this season was an evaluation year... You tell me- who's got the better outlook in a five year plan?
